 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED TO TAKE DOWN DECORATIONS

This Saturday, January 9, 2010, we will remove the holiday decorations from the entry areas in Stone Lakes.  This is a FAST, EASY task that goes much faster than putting UP the decor!  If you have wire cutters, please bring them.  Teens, George Lockhart can sign your yellow volunteer-hour cards.  Meet at the pool at 9:30 am this Saturday.  Thanks!

WE NEED A NEW CO-CHAIR FOR THE SOCIAL COMMITTEE

Please consider volunteering to help Jennifer Blanchard with the Social Committee.  Other demands have taken Dahlia Hassani's time and energy, so she would like a replacement.  This is a fun, easy position, and a great way to help keep Stone Lakes FUN!!  If you are interested, please email social2008@stonelakes.net   Thank you!

NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH NEEDS BLOCK CAPTAINS

A HUGE thank-you to our Block Captains!  However, a few streets are not covered, so we NEED YOUR HELP to keep our lovely development safe.  CONTACT US if you are interested in representing your street as a Block Captain or if you'd just like to keep your eyes open for the unusual.  Not sure if you want to be a Block Captain?  Email watchgroup@stonelakes.net for info. 

TEENS: GET 'HOURS' FOR YELLOW CARDS

Stone Lakes Teenagers: We need your energy, and you may need service hours. . . let's help each other out!  We'd like to hold a Lakeside Cleanup event.  You can recruit friends who also need hours, listen to your I-Pod and fill a few trash bags together!  Storm debris and litter need to be removed from the lake's edge and from the wooded area just south of the lake.

Each task we conquer with volunteers saves our HOA dues for other maintenance and improvements.
