In
December 2008, Forbes Magazine rated Southlake as the MOST
AFFLUENT community of its size in all of America! This
prized position is yet another reason to visit Southlake if you
plan to move to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Have a look at the
article here.
Southlake was named
2006's TOP SUBURB to live in by "D Magazine" in
Dallas. With a population of 26,350 in homes that sold for
over $662,000 in 2008, lot sizes much larger than average, very low crime
levels, extremely high achievement levels in school and in
sports, a state-championship football team, upscale yet quaint Town Square,
and quick access to Dallas and Fort Worth, it is easy to see how
Southlake beat 62 other contenders for this coveted position.
Stone Lakes is located in the heart of Southlake [click
for map]. Stone Lakes is a top-tier development inhabited by
well educated, highly motivated individuals and their
families. The volunteer Homeowners' Association representatives work hard to maintain
the luxurious yet welcoming atmosphere to which our 331 families
have become accustomed. The pride of ownership shared by
so many in Stone Lakes is apparent in the care with which they
landscape their yards and maintain their homes and fences.
The cheerful faces you'll notice throughout the neighborhood
attest to the friendly reputation that Stone Lakes has earned
over time.
The gracious homes, the wide variety of trees, the gently
curving streets, the jogging paths and sidewalks, the
magnificent stocked lake, the pools, tennis courts, playground,
basketball court, and most of all, the amazing people of Stone Lakes come together to make this a much sought
after community within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex jewel
called Southlake. Stone Lakes' location west of
White Chapel Blvd also helps keep things quiet; neighborhoods to
the east and north near Rte 114 endure far more airplane noise,
as they are beneath a main flight path for DFW.
